Role: Community AmbassadorThe Community Ambassador is TaskUs’ first line of defense, providing five-star service to teammates, clients, and all visitors. This role requires assessment of individuals entering the site and serving as TaskUs’ face as the first and last point of contact.
Responsibilities- You carry TaskUs’ name, culture, and core values to leave a lasting impression on visitors, who may share their experience with others.
- Welcome and greet candidates, executives, clients, and visitors with high energy and enthusiasm; introduce site theme and provide site tours.
- Maintain a tidy and well-managed reception; monitor housekeeping on an hourly basis; report issues to Facilities and safety as needed.
- Ensure company assets (e.g., iPads, desktops, keyboards, mice) are kept in good condition; report non-working assets to IT.
- Coordinate transmittals with other site Community Coordinators and endorse items entering and exiting the reception.
- Report suspicious behavior or visitors to safety personnel; engage with people and provide information.
- Collaborate with recruitment to align applicant anticipation and coordinate with sourcing on referral programs.
- Set up client-related requests such as basic coffee setups, VIP setups, boardroom reservations, and welcoming committee activities; coordinate with operations to ensure visits are polished and successful.
A Community Ambassador is also responsible for related administrative tasks, including travel, logistics, client management, asset management, executive handling, and office supplies.
- Project, plan, procure, pre-stage equipment for BCPs; manage asset storage and inventory; oversee deliveries and maintenance.
- Ensure smooth logistics flows, manage transmittals, and coordinate safety-focused service delivery.
- Coordinate shuttle services and trip logs; manage office supplies, travel and asset management; validate vendor invoices.
- Assist with executive meetings and site-related visits with the site EA.
- Support site needs during disasters (e.g., typhoons, floods, fires) in coordination with BCM and safety teams, including lodging and shuttle arrangements.
- Manage driver/messenger schedules, tasks, allowances, and deployment of company vehicles.
- Help ensure policies and procedures are understood and followed by supervisors.
- Certified or vetted to conduct site tours for client visits/prospects; specialized customer service training.
- Knowledge of safety and security procedures; must pass Security/Director evaluation and be CA trainer for incoming CAs.
- Background in employee logistics (travel, shuttle, asset management, inventory, etc.) and vendor relationship management.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage activities with minimal supervision and under deadlines.
- Prepare weekly/monthly/annual reports on office supplies, inventory, and expenses; ensure financial reporting and budgeting competence.
- Experience in employee and applicant engagement; capable of hosting group activities and events.
- Presentable appearance, adherence to dress standards, and professional demeanor.
- Excellent English communication skills; adaptable to diverse nationalities and cultures.
- Energetic, polite, and capable of providing excellent customer service to stakeholders.
- Ability to support client and executive visits and multi-task with high service levels.
- Proficient with GSuite (Sheets, Slides, Docs) for tracking and inventory tasks; able to organize large groups for site activities.
- Willingness to take on responsibilities beyond main tasks as needed; strong decision-making within LOB context.
- Commitment to high customer service and flexibility for overtime or different shifts as required.
- Maintain site inventory for pantry and reception supplies and assist with asset collating and lodging of approvals.
- Minimum 1–2 years in travel/transport/asset management/supplies; experience in reception handling, people engagement, and events.
- Graduation from a 4-year program, preferably related to relevant LOB.
- Experience in BPO or corporate setups is an advantage; hospitality background is a plus.
- Ability to present information clearly and respond to questions relevant to LOBs; knowledge of GSuite is helpful.
- Public speaking or hosting experience is a plus; involvement in external organizations is an advantage.
