Tax and Compliance Officer (Tax Compliance Specialist)

Location : Cebu City | Onsite (First 3 months), Hybrid after (3 days onsite, 2 days WFH)

Schedule : Day Shift | 8 AM- 5 PM PH Time

Summary :

GoTeam is hiring a Tax & Compliance Officer to lead strategic tax initiatives and ensure regulatory excellence. You'll play a key role in driving compliance innovations, including AI-powered solutions, that support our fast-growing and future-ready organization.

Key Duties :

• Lead company registration processes and corporate restructuring projects.
• Ensure timely and accurate transfer pricing compliance.
• Oversee CAS (Computerized Accounting System) registration procedures.
• Coordinate increases in authorized capital stock and related filings.
• Facilitate company trademark registration and renewal.
• Collaborate with the 2025 External Auditor for accurate financial and compliance reporting.
• Manage international compliance projects and ensure alignment with global standards.
• Liaise with external consultants and government agencies on tax and compliance matters.
• Supervise document preparation, submission, and tracking for legal and compliance accuracy.
• Implement proactive solutions to mitigate compliance and regulatory risks.
• Drive innovation by deploying AI agents and tools to enhance compliance efficiency.
• Report regular updates and maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

• Solid understanding of tax laws, compliance frameworks, and regulatory processes
• Proven experience managing tax or legal compliance projects
• Track record of handling government filings, audits, and registration processes
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across internal and external stakeholders
• Proactive mindset with a passion for innovation and technology
• Experience in driving efficiency through AI-powered solutions or tools
• Familiarity with AI tools and automation solutions for compliance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Experience coordinating with government portals (e.g., BIR eFPS, SEC, etc.)

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or tax certification (preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in tax compliance or corporate finance
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and business registration processes
