Attach this together with your updated CV to become a priority applicant Work Arrangement Work from Office Schedule Morning shift Key Responsibilities Diagnose, repair, and maintain vintage Apple ( ), Macintosh, and related hardware. Perform motherboard -level repairs, including soldering, trace repair, and component replacement. Restore and calibrate floppy drives, CRT displays, and vintage keyboards/mice. Source or fabricate replacement parts and connectors where originals are no longer available. Maintain detailed logs of repairs, parts used, and restoration history. Perform preventive maintenance to prevent deterioration of electronic and plastic components. Collaborate with curators/owners to preserve authenticity during restoration. Maintain a clean, organized, and static-safe work environment. Qualification and requirements Electronics or Computer Technician background (Certificate or Degree preferred). Proven experience in motherboard and component-level repair . Strong soldering and diagnostic skills, including use of oscilloscopes and multimeters. Familiarity with vintage computing hardware (Apple )(, Macintosh 128K/512K/Plus, SE/30, etc.) highly desirable. Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and repair manuals. High attention to detail and methodical approach to restoration work. Good written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience with EPROM programming , capacitor replacement (recapping) , and CRT servicing . Knowledge of classic Mac OS and Apple DOS environments. Interest in computer history, preservation, or collection management .
