Azure Architect

Overview

Role: Azure Architect (Project-based — 6 months contract). Location: Makati | Work from Home / Hybrid.

We are looking for a highly skilled Azure Cloud Architect to strategize, design, implement and maintain solutions within Microsoft Azure.

The Azure Cloud Architect’s responsibilities include overseeing the cloud computing strategy of our organization, including cloud adoption plans, cloud application design, and cloud management and monitoring. Our ideal candidates are familiar with the infrastructure and application architecture, and have hands-on experience leading the design and deployment of enterprise-scale Azure solutions.

• Designing Azure infrastructure and services to meet the company’s needs.
• Deploying and debugging cloud initiatives as needed in accordance with best practices throughout the development lifecycle.
• Educating teams on the implementation of new cloud technologies and initiatives.
• Identifying, analyzing and resolving infrastructure vulnerabilities and application deployment issues.
• Collaborating with team members to improve the company’s cloud management, application design, data migration, and security setup.
• Creating and coordinating the cloud architecture and leading the cultural change for cloud adoption.
• Developing and coordinating cloud architecture and driving ‘cloud-first’ approach within the organization.
• Manage cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines.

• Proven work experience as an Azure Cloud Architect or similar role
• Experience designing, building and operating cloud infrastructures and services
• Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate complicated cloud reports to management and other IT development partners.
• ISO Requirement - ISO 27001 / 42001 and HIPAA, SOC2, etc.
• Strong knowledge of programming languages, operating systems, databases, and software development methodologies
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert or similar certification
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field.
