SUPPLY AND DEMAND PLANNER

ROLE SUMMARY
This role will provide support to the Supply Chain Head in all demand planning activities of the business unit.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality to generate accurate demand forecasts.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to incorporate promotions, product launches, and business insights into forecasts.
- Monitor and improve forecast accuracy.
- Translate demand forecasts into supply and order plan.
- Identify potential supply risks (e.g., stockouts, excess inventory, supplier delays) and develop mitigation strategies.
- Participate in the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process to ensure alignment between demand, supply, and financial targets.
- Coordinate with principal and regional partners.
- Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
- Input volume of demand forecast in the system; Documentation of inter store stock transfer
- Special projects or tasks related to the position.
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Industrial) or equivalent.
- At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in Supply and Demand Planning.
- Required Skill(s): Analytical and planning skills, Proficient in MS Excel
- Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
- Knowledge in different forecasting methods
