Your Role

As a Senior Systems Administrator, you will:

• Administer and support core infrastructure and cloud services, including Windows Servers, virtual desktops, networking, firewalls, file/web servers, VPN tunnels, and backup/recovery systems.
• Maintain and manage Microsoft IIS, Remote Desktop Services, Print Services, and SQL Server database administration to ensure peak performance and availability.
• Automate routine and manual processes where applicable to increase operational efficiency across server environments.
• Deploy and update in-house software applications and services seamlessly for new and existing client accounts.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues, document system processes, and maintain rigorous infrastructure security and uptime standards.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• 8+ years of proven experience as a Systems Administrator or in a similar technical role.
• Extensive hands-on expertise with Windows Server operating systems, features, and core infrastructure administration.
• Strong background in supporting file/folder shares, authentication systems, backups, antivirus, and virtualization technologies.
• Solid understanding of network infrastructure and terminology (TCP/IP, VLAN, switches, gateways, firewalls, and VPN tunnels).
• A quiet dedicated workspace with stable internet and a compatible mobile device (Android 11+ or iOS 13+) for multi-factor authentication.

Preferred Skills/expertise

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft IIS, Remote Desktop Services, and Windows Print Services.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud computing and cloud infrastructure environments.
• Excellent troubleshooting, project execution, technical documentation, and verbal/written communication skills.
