JOB DESCRIPTION The Assistant Brand Marketing Manager plays a key role in driving the Vans brand in the Philippines, ensuring that all marketing initiatives strengthen Vans’ positioning as a leading lifestyle and skate brand. This role is responsible for developing and executing integrated brand campaigns, managing influencer and PR strategies, and leading digital marketing efforts to connect Vans authentically with the Filipino youth culture. Key Responsibilities 1. Brand Strategy & Execution Developing the seasonal & annual brand and campaign plans aligned with Vans’ global and regional direction. Localize brand strategies to fit the Philippine market while maintaining Vans’ global identity and “Off The Wall” ethos. Coordinate with internal teams (Merchandising and Sales) to ensure consistency in brand storytelling across all touchpoints. 2. Influencer & Community Marketing Identify, onboard, and manage relationships with brand ambassadors, key opinion leaders (KOLs), and content creators who embody Vans’ lifestyle and values. Plan and execute influencer campaigns that amplify Vans’ key initiatives, product launches, and events. Track influencer performance and optimize content and engagement strategies based on analytics and insights. 3. Public Relations & Communications Develop and execute PR plans to build and maintain positive media relations and brand reputation. Coordinate with Media Partners for press releases, media kits and event coverage. Manage crisis communication in coordination with regional and global PR teams, if needed. 4. Digital Marketing & Content Oversee Vans Philippines’ digital presence — including social media, website, and online campaigns. Work with internal and external creative teams to produce engaging content that drives brand awareness and consumer engagement. Analyze digital metrics, community sentiment, and content performance to refine digital marketing strategies. 5. Campaigns, Events & Activations Plan and execute lifestyle brand activations and community events that reinforce Vans’ connection to music, art, and street culture. Ensure that all events deliver an authentic “Off The Wall” brand experience. 6. Budget & Reporting Manage allocated marketing budgets for influencer, PR, and digital activities. Track ROI and report campaign results and insights to the Retail Marketing Manager and regional team. Maintain marketing calendars and ensure timely execution of projects. Qualifications Education, Training & Certification Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising & Business or related field Experience 3-5 years of experience in Brand Marketing preferably within fashion, lifestyle or youth-oriented brands Proven work experience in developing brand and marketing strategies (Offline and Online) Technical Skills Strong understanding of Influencer Marketing, Social Media and PR in the Philippine landscape Experience in campaign management and content development Excellent communication, project management and relationship-building skills Passion for streetwear, skate culture and creative communities Essential Traits Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
