Key Responsibilities Design, build, and optimize data pipelines and data architectures for analytics and machine learning use cases. Lead and contribute to data strategy and architectural decisions across multiple projects. Develop robust data models and implement performance tuning and security for Snowflake and other cloud platforms. Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineers to ensure reliable data flow and quality. Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, promoting best practices and professional growth. Implement CI/CD and MLOps pipelines to improve deployment efficiency and system reliability. Stay current with emerging data technologies and contribute to proof-of-concept initiatives. Support pre-sales activities, technical presentations, and client engagements when needed. Qualifications Required Skills & Experience 6+ years of professional experience in software development or data engineering . Proven expertise in Data Warehousing and Data Analytics projects (data acquisition, transformation, and analysis). In-depth experience with Snowflake , including data modeling, performance optimization, and security implementation. Strong proficiency in SQL and Snowflake-specific features (e.g., Time Travel, Zero‑Copy Cloning, Secure Data Sharing). Proficiency with Python , Spark , and dbt for data transformation. Experience with data orchestration tools such as Omni (preferred), Airflow , Dagster , or Prefect . Familiarity with modern data formats such as Delta Tables, Apache Iceberg, and Parquet. Expertise in data modeling (conceptual, logical, and physical) following methodologies such as Data Vault 2.0 and Dimensional Modeling . Hands‑on experience with cloud data services such as AWS Data Services , Microsoft Intelligent Data Platform , or Google Cloud Analytics . Experience with Databricks and/or Snowflake ; relevant certifications are an advantage. Understanding of CI/CD , MLOps , Data Governance , and Data Management . Strong foundation in design patterns , clean architecture , and clean coding principles . Experience with unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing for data systems. Nice to Have Experience with event‑driven or streaming data architectures. Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to Terraform or other Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools.
