Summary As a Software Development Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that include analyzing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code across various clients. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to perform maintenance and enhancements, as well as developing new features to improve application functionality. You will also be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of the code you produce, while actively participating in team discussions and decision-making processes. Roles & Responsibilities Expected to be an SME. Collaborate and manage the team to perform. Responsible for team decisions. Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team skills and capabilities. Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of tasks. Assist in the onboarding and training of new team members. Professional & Technical Skills Expert proficiency in Kotlin programming language. Experience with Java Enterprise Edition. Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. Proficiency in using version control systems such as Git. Experience with backend development frameworks, particularly Spring Boot. Familiarity with database management and design principles. Additional Information Candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Kotlin programming language. This position is based at our Manila office. A Kotlin/Java with Spring Boot for backend APIs is required. Minimum Qualifications Candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Kotlin programming language. A Kotlin/Java with Spring Boot for backend APIs is required. Strong analytical and planning skills. Good communication and presentation skills. Excellent problem-solving skills.
