Role Description The Background Production department focuses on producing short-length commercials, promotional videos, and pachinko projects. Job Description Produce intricate background line art from scratch, based on storyboards or layout instructions, with a strong grasp of perspective. Incorporate creative elements not depicted in the layout to enhance the final composition. Utilize photo references and art materials to color backgrounds while preserving the integrity of the line art. Adjust and refine the final output to ensure seamless integration with character cel animations. Maintain exceptional attention to detail for every frame and cut, even within strict production schedules, ensuring the quality of background work remains consistent and thoughtful. Create background artwork using Photoshop. Develop line art and paint backgrounds for Japanese animation content. Job Qualifications Patience and attention to detail, with the ability to meticulously illustrate each piece. A passion for Japanese 2D content, including anime, manga, and games. Interest or experience in photography as a hobby or profession. Genuine interest in tackling both line art and coloring with dedication. Open to candidates of all ages and experience levels.
