Job Description Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Technical Product Owner (IT Manager) – Enterprise Ledger (location-based in APAC - Bangalore or Manila) who will work at the intersection of business & technology to define strategies that combine a deep understanding of business objectives with technology solutions, extending them into development execution, value realization, and ongoing product management. You will enable the strategic direction for finance technology products and architect SAP Finance / S/4 HANA as the function supports an ambitious transformational agenda. You will be part of a team of internal and external technology professionals supporting the run state organization and JnJ’s SAP S4 Finance system in the APAC region. This position is offered as a fixed-term opportunity for two years, with the role based in Bangalore or Manila. It provides opportunities to contribute to Johnson & Johnson’s strategic finance technology transformation initiatives while gaining global exposure within the enterprise function. Responsibilities Business Problem Definition: understand and translate finance function problems into a value case and a comprehensive set of solutions spanning process, technology, data, governance, and user experience, supported by defined baseline value realization KPIs. Solution Design: ensure product development includes experimentation to validate impact, human-centered design, agile principles, external insights, end-to-end process optimizations, and compliance engagement. Value Realization: define encouraged value impact of investments across employee experience, functional excellence, efficiency, and compliance. Architecture: partner with the finance architecture team to define the role of each system within the landscape aligned with business capabilities. Internal Partnerships: act as a trusted advisor to senior finance & technology leaders across all lifecycles of product development, from inception to value realization and ongoing continuous improvement, with progress communicated against strategic objectives. Product Management: collaborate with product management teams to ensure roadmaps align with finance business & technology strategy, value creation objectives, and measurable KPIs; ensure user-friendly and reliable systems and excellence in support operations, including support of financial reporting cycles within JnJ. Team Leadership: co-lead a global team of finance technology professionals across multiple domains and locations. Technical Expertise & Qualifications S/4 HANA Finance (Account to Report) SAP Central Finance Understanding of (SAP) Cloud infrastructure Data strategy, governance, technology, and process definition Financial Accounting, Reporting, Close optimization & continuous accounting Additional Experience (a plus) I2C (Invoice to Cash) P2P (Procure to Pay) Asset Management Project Accounting Treasury Finance Master Data Management Qualifications and Requirements 10+ years preferred of proven experience in leading technical and/or finance teams; strong leadership, communication and people management skills. 8+ years of relevant functional experience with SAP ECC6 FI/CO, S/4 HANA Finance, and/or Central Finance, with a minimum of 3+ years of experience in S/4 HANA. BA/BS degree required. Master’s Degree with focus on Computer Science or Computer Engineering; Economics or Financial Accounting; MBA is preferred. Technical expertise in S/4 HANA, SAP Central Finance, Cloud infrastructure, SAP BTP, Data strategy, Governance, Technology, and Process definition is preferred.
