About the Role Research Analyst, ESG Team S&P Global is a leading provider of ESG data for investors, corporates, and stakeholders. The team manages the proprietary database comprising one of the world’s most complete datasets on corporate sustainability. Responsibilities & Impact Process data (Financial/ESG qualitative and quantitative) and apply it to the database using CSA guidance. Collect, standardize, and validate data from various documents. Maintain strong understanding of ESG concepts, research methodologies, and trends. Deliver on pre-defined individual and team targets with quality and efficiency. Engage with ESG analysts to understand challenges and suggest solutions. Keep updated on content sets and build industry knowledge by understanding industry trends and reporting standards. Provide input and ideas for new collection methods and product improvements related to covered content sets. Troubleshoot problems or issues and support the team. As a part of S&P’s ESG team Develop and maintain accurate, complete, and timely data sets while considering the business division’s global interests and needs internally and externally. What we’re looking for We are searching for people who are passionate about sustainability and would like to join a project‑focused, international team of like‑minded people, driven to deliver excellence in managing the world’s most known family of sustainability indices and one of the leading corporate sustainability benchmarking methodologies. Basic Qualifications & Skills Required Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Financial Management, Accountancy, Economics, Environmental Science, Social Sciences or equivalent. Prior experience in ESG data ratings and research is preferred. Fresh graduates are highly encouraged to apply. 2 years’ work experience in the field of ESG or corporate sustainability is preferred. Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Possess necessary skills to interpret documents such as articles, bylaws, prospectus, annual reports, sustainability reports, codes of conduct. Willing to work in rotational shifts; ability to multi‑task and work in a team environment with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and persistent approach to work. Strong research and analytical skills. Good written and oral presentation skills. Initiative and resourcefulness. Agile mindset.
