PROJECT IN CHARGE FOR ALUMINUM WINDOWS AND DOORS

Job description

The Project In Charge for Aluminum Doors and Windows will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects involving aluminum door and window installations. This role involves coordinating with clients, managing project timelines, ensuring quality standards, and supervising a team of installers. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, technical expertise in aluminum door and window systems, and the ability to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Coordination:
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Coordinate with clients to understand project requirements and specifications.
Prepare and review technical drawings and specifications for aluminum door and window installations.
Team Management:
Supervise and manage a team of installers and subcontractors.
Ensure that team members understand project goals, tasks, and timelines.
Provide training and support to team members as needed.
Execution and Oversight:
Oversee the installation process to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues or delays.
Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards.
Client Communication:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide regular updates to clients on project status, addressing any concerns or changes.
Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality work and resolving any issues promptly.
Quality Control and Compliance:
Conduct inspections to ensure the quality of materials and workmanship.
Address any defects or issues promptly to maintain high-quality standards.
Ensure all installations comply with local building codes and regulations.
Budget and Resource Management:
Monitor project budgets and manage costs effectively.
Ensure efficient use of resources and materials to minimize waste.
Prepare and submit progress reports and financial reports as required.
Problem Solving and Troubleshooting:
Identify potential problems and implement solutions proactively.
Handle any technical issues or challenges that arise during the installation process.
Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of project activities, including schedules, budgets, and materials used.
Prepare and submit regular project reports to management.
Document any changes or deviations from the original project plan.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
Proven experience in managing aluminum door and window installation projects.
Strong understanding of aluminum door and window systems, installation techniques, and industry standards.
Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
