The Home-BasedSenior Accounts Receivable will work as a full-time employee for a growing business based in the United States. You will get a chance to learn new skills as well as demonstrate skills you've learned in the past. You will be responsible for closely following the instructions and processes outlined by your designated internal department. The daily tasks will vary so it will be necessary to be very flexible in this position. Other necessary characteristics of the job include having a strong attention to detail, ability to work well with co-workers, and a desire to learn new work skills. Ideal Candidates Will Be Organizational and time-management skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to meet strict deadlines Effective communication skills with a problem-solving attitude Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures Role Details Industry: Outsourcing Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST Workdays: Monday through Friday Written and spoken English skill: Very Proficient Salary Range: PHP 60,000 - 70,000.00 Job Responsibilities Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered; Following up on, collect, and allocate payments for credit card customers; Communicating with previous clients and customers to request payment and arrange payment plans; Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses; Performing account reconciliations by making sure prepaid customers have no outstanding balances on their account; Researching and resolving account discrepancies; Working extensively with the collections department to review accounts, client payments, credit history, and develop new or better repayment terms; Creating reports and balance sheets that document overall profits and losses; Obtaining information from other departments to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals are up to date; Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts; and Performing tasks analogous to the foregoing Additional Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field. Experience: 2-5 years of Accounts Receivable/Payable and/or General Accounting experience. Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, specifically Word, and Outlook. Must have strong Netsuite experience in functions for AR and AP process.
