Help Us Grow Our Dream Team — Join Us, Refer a Friend, and Earn a Referral Bonus Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with at least 3 years of hands‑on experience in managing and optimizing Azure-based environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), server and network configuration, FSLogix profile management, conditional access, security policies, Azure AD management, firewall configuration, and internet connectivity management. This role will focus on delivering seamless operations, proactive monitoring, and maintaining a secure and scalable cloud infrastructure. Essential Functions and Tasks Azure Infrastructure Management: Configure, monitor, and maintain Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) environments for optimal performance. Manage Azure resources, including virtual machines, load balancers, and storage solutions. Ensure adherence to best practices for high availability and disaster recovery. Server and Network Configuration: Deploy and manage Windows and Linux servers in Azure. Configure virtual networks, subnets, and gateways to ensure seamless connectivity. Implement and manage hybrid cloud setups where applicable. Profile and Policy Management: Manage FSLogix profiles to deliver consistent and optimized user experiences. Design and implement conditional access policies to secure access to Azure resources. Enforce organizational security standards through custom policies and monitoring. Azure Active Directory (Azure AD): Administer Azure AD, including managing users, groups, roles, and applications. Configure and troubleshoot identity federation and SSO/MFA solutions. Implement secure identity management practices aligned with compliance standards. Firewall and Connectivity: Configure and maintain Azure‑native firewalls and third‑party appliances as needed. Manage and optimize internet connectivity, ensuring high performance and minimal downtime. Secure inbound and outbound traffic through advanced firewall rules and monitoring. Security and Compliance: Conduct security assessments and implement encryption, access controls, and threat protection. Manage and monitor logs using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Sentinel for proactive incident detection. Stay up to date on compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA) and ensure Azure environment alignment. Automation and Optimization: Automate deployments and maintenance tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, ARM templates, and Terraform. Monitor and analyze resource usage to recommend and implement cost optimization strategies. Implement CI/CD pipelines where relevant for infrastructure management. Documentation and Collaboration: Maintain detailed technical documentation for configurations, processes, and workflows. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including developers, IT, and security teams, to align cloud infrastructure with business objectives. Education and Experience Requirements Minimum of 3 years of experience in Azure Cloud Infrastructure. Strong expertise in Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) configuration and management. Proficiency in FSLogix profile setup and optimization. In‑depth knowledge of Azure networking concepts, including VPNs, VNETs, and ExpressRoute. Hands‑on experience with conditional access and Azure security policies. Strong understanding of Azure AD, including governance and access management. Experience with firewall configuration and management in cloud environments. Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot internet connectivity issues in Azure. Solid scripting and automation skills using PowerShell, Azure CLI, and Terraform. Exceptional problem‑solving and analytical skills, with a proactive approach to infrastructure management. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Microsoft Azure certifications such as: Azure Administrator Associate. Azure Security Engineer Associate. Azure Solutions Architect Expert. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools like Azure DevOps, Git, or Jenkins. Experience in managing hybrid cloud solutions (Azure + on‑premises). Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Understanding of Zero Trust architecture principles and their implementation in Azure. Compensation Base Compensation will be based on various factors unique to each candidate including geographic location, skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job‑related reasons. This position is also eligible for a discretionary incentive bonus in accordance with company policies.
