By joining us as a Developer II, Advanced Automation Development, you will have the opportunity to experience a breadth of assignments as well as the opportunity to work with various functional area teams. You will engage the organization to surface automation opportunities, maintain a backlog of automation projects, and ensure the efficient execution of development.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Work on project-based assignments in small and large teams to deliver automated processes
• Design, develop, and implement custom solutions for the automation of existing or new processes.
• Implement the full life cycle of an automation solution: identify automation opportunities, gather requirements, develop, test, and deploy automation solutions using advanced automation tools.
• Troubleshoot and fix major bugs/defects and assist junior developers in making sure issues/requests are resolved appropriately and on time.
• Introduce and test new technologies to continuously improve the technical capabilities of the team relating to RPA and other automation tools (Noetix, Robocorp, etc.).
• Create automation sequences (code creation) that will support a specific task or process, including (but not limited to) Office 365, Excel macros, RPA, and other Emerson IT-approved automation tool standards, with a heavy emphasis of their time invested in RPA development.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or similar.
• 3-4 years of relevant work experience in the software development field, tools, and process automation.
• Proficient in automation tools and platforms, including Office 365 applications (Flow, OneDrive, SharePoint, Teams).
• Deep knowledge of Integrated Administrative and Productivity Tools.
• Hands-on troubleshooting and response experience.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
