Job Description

Responsibilities
  • Execute digital illustrations, graphics, and multimedia elements, ensuring alignment with project goals, brand guidelines, and artistic vision.
  • Create storyboards and concept art, providing valuable insights and contributing to the overall narrative and visual direction.
  • Be social-media savvy and proficient in utilizing various platforms for online posting or digital marketing; actively follow and adapt to emerging social media trends.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree, certificate, or equivalent practical experience in design or a related field
  • 3 or more years of relevant work in a design, marketing or publishing company, or within a corporate design team; an impressive portfolio of work
  • High proficiency in design software including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic proficiency in Figma and basic video editing
  • Strong design skills, especially in layouts, typography and color, as well as expert production knowledge including file setup, image optimization and color management
  • Understanding of the basic principles of design for accessibility; strong command of the English language
  • Passion for creating hard-working assets and systems, and getting it "right" every time
  • A growth mindset; constantly looking for ways to grow skills, improve processes and methods, and understand the businesses we operate in
  • Attention to detail in both work and workflow; good communication skills and ability to break down problems and present goals clearly
