Equipment Management: Ensure that testing and measuring equipment is properly calibrated and functioning correctly. Reporting & Communication: Provide findings and reports to managers and production teams, often working with suppliers to address issues with materials. Compliance: Ensure adherence to internal policies, legal regulations, and industry standards throughout the manufacturing process. Job Requirements Key Skills: Attention to Detail: Crucial for meticulously inspecting products and processes to identify even minor flaws. Analytical Skills: Needed for analyzing data, identifying trends, and determining the root causes of quality issues. Technical Aptitude: Proficiency in using various tools and measuring devices like calipers and gauges. Communication: Effective communication skills are essential for working with various departments and reporting findings. Role in the Manufacturing Process: Early Problem Detection: Proactively identify potential quality issues before they become major problems, reducing waste and costs.
