Key Responsibilities: Lead the monthly close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting. Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with local accounting standards; exposure to US GAAP is a plus. Oversee tax compliance requirements including BIR filings, VAT, withholding tax, income tax , and other statutory obligations. Manage general ledger reporting and reconciliation of sub-ledgers. Ensure proper implementation and monitoring of internal controls and compliance with corporate policies. Draft and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and process narratives . Collaborate with external auditors and manage audit readiness. Provide financial insights and support decision-making for senior leadership. Utilize ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, Netsuite) for transaction processing and reporting. Build and maintain advanced Excel models using pivot tables, lookups, and other relevant tools. Support multinational or regional financial operations as required. (Nice to have) Assist in BOI compliance and reporting, if applicable. Qualifications: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required. Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles in a call center or business process outsourcing (BPO) setting. Strong knowledge of local tax laws and regulatory requirements. Experience in a regional or multinational environment is a strong advantage. Proficiency in ERP software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or Netsuite . Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead finance processes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
