Job summary: The major job function of a Manufacturing Section Lead is to oversee and coordinate the activities of a specific section within the manufacturing department to ensure efficient production processes. The Manufacturing Section leads manages a team, implements production schedules, and maintains quality standards to meet production targets.What You'll Do: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the plant to ensure reliable and efficient operations with optimal product quality. Implement standards, procedures, and processes to manufacture high-quality products. Plan and organize production schedules. Monitor every aspect of production to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards. Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production equipment to ensure smooth operations. Ensure that health and safety regulations and guidelines are met. Determine quality control standards. Oversee production processes. Set production objectives and implement action plans for achieving set targets. Ensure all company regulations and government legislations are adhered to. Supervise and manage the work of Multi-skillers and OSPs. Organize relevant training sessions for the team. What We're Looking For: Educational Background: Graduate of Mechanical, Industrial, or Food Engineering; with license is an advantage. Work Experience: With a minimum of at least 1-year experience in a supervisory role in the food industry. Job Skills: With knowledge of Production Planning and Scheduling.
