Responsibilities- Create and maintain accurate 3D models for construction projects using BIM software.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction teams to integrate all project aspects into the BIM model.
- Use BIM models to support constructability reviews, quantity & material take-offs.
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across different BIM models and disciplines. Stay current with updates and advancements in BIM technology.
- Engage in BIM coordination meetings to discuss model progress and resolve issues.
- Develop and refine BIM models throughout the design and construction phases.
- Contribute to the establishment and enforcement of BIM standards across the project.
- Utilize BIM for visualization and simulation to support design decision-making.
- Perform clash detection and coordinate solutions.
- Generate construction documents and reports from BIM models.
- Assist in the extraction of 2D drawings and construction documents from BIM models.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of BIM standards and best practices.
- Work closely with project managers to align BIM models with project timelines and milestones.
