A Pharmacist is a healthcare professional responsible for dispensing medications, providing advice on the safe use of prescription and over-the-counter drugs, and ensuring the well-being of patients through medication management. Pharmacists play a key role in preventing medication errors, promoting public health, and offering guidance on the treatment of various health conditions.
LicensureLicensure: Valid and current pharmacist license issued by the relevant state board of pharmacy.
ExperienceExperience: Not required as long as willing to be trained.
Key Skills- Pharmaceutical Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of drug interactions, side effects, dosages, and therapeutic uses.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient counseling, interacting with healthcare providers, and providing customer service.
