Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled HSE Advisor to join our team. This position requires a proactive individual who can effectively promote and enhance our Health, Safety, and Environmental standards. The successful candidate will provide expert advice on all aspects of HSE management and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies. As an HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for developing safe systems of work and monitoring the company’s adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations. You will play a pivotal role in minimizing risks and ensuring a secure workplace for all employees. Your role will involve collaborating with various departments to implement, maintain, and improve our safety management systems across multiple sites. Responsibilities Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote HSE best practices. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with HSE regulations. Provide expert advice and guidance on all HSE matters to management and staff. Lead and participate in HSE audits and incident investigations. Analyze safety data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions. Deliver training programs to enhance safety awareness among employees. Ensure timely reporting and documentation of HSE incidents and accidents. Coordinate emergency response planning and conduct drills regularly. Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure compliance with legal requirements. Promote a strong safety culture within the organization at all levels. Prepare detailed reports on HSE performance and safety initiatives. Encourage employee involvement in safety improvements and committees. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health, Environment or related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar HSE advisory role. In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and industry best practices. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess risk effectively. Strong communication skills to interact with staff at all levels. Ability to develop and deliver safety training sessions efficiently. Possession of relevant HSE certifications, such as NEBOSH or equivalent.
