  • The Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for quality assurance audits and ensures the product integrity and that standards are being met. He/she shall troubleshoot systems to ensure reliability, usability, and performance.
  • His/her job is to design and carry out the tests which include making sure that everything works in different environments and across platforms.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Perform quality assurance efforts on multiple application releases, monitor and document testing activities.
  • Manage testing for application deployments and assign testing activities to the team.
  • Satisfy release deliverables, project testing requirements, and other quality assurance responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with the team to understand product changes and QA testing requirements to deal with issues/defects in a timely manner.
  • Establish a testing feedback loop with other developers and team members.
  • Create written documentation and procedures for application testing and compliance.
  • Debug test environment, automate sprints, and develop testing scenarios.
  • Experienced with end-user testing, usability testing, software and web application testing, Java/JSP or C#/ASP, PHP, and other relevant languages or applications.
Qualifications
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems Technology.
  • Knowledge:
    • 2-3 years of related experience.
    • Ability to create and execute test plans across different test phases.
    • Ability to understand the business value of a system in order to create and execute detailed test scenarios.
    • Ability to create test reports and interpret them for future improvements.
    • QA experience with complex software applications and systems.
    • Basic experience in Test Automation.
    • Basic scripting experience using any of the following: Java, Python, JavaScript.
    • Experience in Agile development.
  • Skills:
    • Excellent analytical skills.
    • Ability to quickly adapt to a changing environment.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
    • Flexible, team-player, and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to learn and adapt in a startup environment.
  • Hungry to learn.
  • An amazing team player who can work with various cross-functional teams with a collaborative attitude.
  • Strong desire to deliver excellent and quality work output.
  • Willing to work in Haig, Mandaluyong City and/or General Trias, Cavite.
