Explains laboratory procedures to patients 2. Checks specimens or samples as to their condition, acceptability, and appropriateness to the test 3. Ensures safety and comfort of patients before and after collecting blood samples B. Medical Efficiency 1. Examines collected specimens or samples and identify any abnormalities 2. Ensures accuracy of test results C. Regulatory Compliance 1. Adheres to regulatory requirements mandated by DOH D. Administrative Efficiency 1. Documents data of patients through charting 2.
