MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS:
As a Workday Time Tracking Consultant in Kainos, you'll work in a team to implement and configure enterprise-scale Workday solutions for our global customer base, typically leading a project workstream. You will build relationships with our customers, shaping and delivering solutions that are aligned to customer needs, fit for purpose and commercially viable.
You'll provide excellent guidance to customers, understanding their business and requirements. You'll support more junior members of the team and share your knowledge with them.
- Strong understanding of Workday products either/or HCM as well as any specialist Capability
- Time Tracking Certification with 3-5 years experience
- Excellent customer focus, able to assess customer needs, build relationships and manage customer expectations. You will know when to push back, when to escalate, and when to go above and beyond to satisfy a customer
- Strong communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with impact, credibility and empathy, including in a remote working situation. Sound ability to formally present to senior Client audiences
- Strong commercial awareness and full understanding of project and business dynamics
- Broad business and technology understanding and a good awareness of industry trends in either Human Resource management, Financials or Enterprise Resource Planning or Payroll
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and make sensible decisions under pressure taking a balanced view of Customer demands and Kainos commercials
- Ability to widen and maintain a network of external contacts
- Strong consulting skills e.g. presenting, leading workshops, demonstrating and explaining complex functionality or solutions to customers
- Able to lead a functional workstream on a prime implementation throughout the full project lifecycle
- Able to become an acknowledged subject matter expert e.g. Workday Product Lead
- Willing and able to act as a role model within the capability and mentor and/or line manage more junior consultants
- Willing and able to support the sales process including the production of estimates for the delivery of work packages
- Able to implement improvements in tools and/or processes to help the practice
- Commercial understanding of utilisation within a services organisation and the importance of these targets
- Able to rotate through various Workday delivery services, specifically Consulting and Application Management Services
- For Application Management Services, able to deliver work to meet defined Service Level Agreements
- Able, if required, to travel to customer sites in the same region (minimal out of region travel may also be required)
- Professional qualifications in your area of expertise

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS:
As a Workday HCM Consultant (Associate) in Kainos, you'll work as part of a team to support the implementation and configuration of enterprise-scale Workday solutions for our global customer base.
You'll work co-operatively with team members to understand customer requirements, and with the guidance from more senior consultants, deliver solutions that are aligned to customer needs.
You'll know when to appropriately escalate issues and seek support from your more experienced team members.
What We Are Looking For
- Good understanding of Workday products either/or HCM as well as any specialist Capability
- Good customer focus, with some experience in a customer-facing environment.
- Clear and effective communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with credibility, including in a remote working situation
- Good commercial awareness and some understanding of project and business dynamics
- Capable of working within (remote) teams and alongside customers, as well as on your individual tasks with limited supervision
- Ability to plan own workload and meet deadlines
- Able to apply all relevant standards and procedures to your own work, maintaining high quality and accuracy at all times
- Aware of the importance of confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensures security of information at all times
- Willing to learn in depth about relevant subject matter e.g., international regulatory requirements

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE BUSINESS:
As an Adaptive Planning Consultant (Senior Associate), you'll work in a team or independently helping our clients transform their business planning needs (budgeting, revenue, personnel, KPIs, quotas/capacity, territories, reporting & analytics) with the Adaptive Planning Business Planning Cloud. You will work as part of a delivery team supporting implementations for customers of all size, across multiple industries. You will be a specialist contributor within your team, providing mentorship to more junior team members.
You Will Be Expected To
- Providing expertise on the Adaptive Planning solution – you will be expected to maintain proficiency and certification in the Adaptive Planning solution suite
- Contributing to implementation for our clients – you will contribute to all phases of Adaptive Planning implementation projects, including:
- Work with clients to understand their current planning process, and take a consultative approach to move legacy models into Adaptive Planning
- Investigate and in consultation with the implementation lead, recommend the best solution based on the client's requirements, budget, and timeframe, with the flexibility to adapt the scope as additional needs are identified
- Assist in guiding clients through facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and an understanding of each client's unique business requirements at all stages of the project
- Develop and configure accurate forecasting and planning models in Adaptive Planning to meet clients' business needs
- Assist in the planning and delivery of training sessions for users
- Document the planning models and reporting delivered to clients
- Ensure rapid time to value through delivering engagements on time and budget
- Supporting our clients to ensure success – you will be communicating regularly, concisely, and clearly with clients to set proper expectations and ensure client success. You will also provide general customer service and assistance to clients and serve as the go-to resource on all project related inquiries
- Collaborating internally – you will be sharing your learnings and problems solved with your colleagues.
What We Are Looking For
- Financial and/or management accounting experience, particularly budgeting, planning and management reporting
- Exposure to designing and building complex financial planning models, with advanced Excel skills
- Experience implementing at least one Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system (e.g., Adaptive Planning, Host Analytics, Anaplan, Oracle Hyperion)
- Strong communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with impact, credibility and empathy, including in a remote working situation. Sound ability to formally present to senior Client audiences
- We all work in teams here in Kainos – a proven ability of working effectively within teams and alongside customers whilst helping to foster an inclusive culture
- Ability to execute your individual tasks with limited supervision and manage your time effectively and record it accurately
