The Designer/ Senior Designer will work with the Design lead on design and implementation projects across Asia Pacific and support the growth of our interior design capability. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with internal team for retail design & project implementation. Carry out work plans for each project, managing creative and technical design delivery. Responsible for planning, organizing and directing project activities, workflow, and other day to day activities, to ensure goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within prescribed time frame and budget, and other performance targets. Day to day responsibility for developing retail store projects, based on the programming requirements and budget parameters and coordinating the project documentation. Coordinates activities of team engaged in preparing construction documents and furniture drawings and specifications. Reviews and/or develops specifications. Implements established design schedule ensuring milestone reviews. Responsible for code research, including obtaining necessary variance approvals. Provides assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers, including leading project teams and/or plan and supervise assignments of junior employees. Assist and support the design team in areas of staffing, mentoring, etc. Establish strategy, goals and objectives for design projects. Lead by example and model behavior consistent with the company's values. Perform other related duties as and when required. Qualifications Interior Design qualifications Strong all round Interior design skills to include Concept Design, Space Planning, Client Presentations, Documentation, Joinery Detailing and Coordination. A team player that is self motivated, an effective communicator, willing to build lasting relationships with our team and our clients. A desire to constantly improve and seeks opportunities to grow professionally Required Knowledge & Skills Fresh graduates or 5+ years of relevant experience in interior design roles Substantial experience with retail interiors will be a plus Experience with interior design specifications Team leadership, coordination, mentoring, and motivation Exceptional creative skills, design visioning and innovation Expert in all conventional aspects of technical design/architectural principles Experience with Photoshop, AutoCAD, Sketch-UP and Adobe Suite If working with the best in an exciting and rewarding team environment appeals to you then we want to hear from you.
