Overview Junior Software Developer - Java (Work From Home) role at Quantrics Enterprises Inc. Responsibilities Collaborating with business users to understand, document, and prioritize software-related issues or enhancement requests. Acting as a liaison between internal stakeholders and the application vendor to communicate technical problems, track progress, and ensure resolution within agreed timelines. Logging and managing application issues through ticketing or issue tracking systems, ensuring clear documentation of symptoms, root causes, and implemented fixes. Assisting in testing and validating vendor-provided fixes or software updates before deployment to ensure minimal disruption to business operations. Monitoring application performance and user feedback to proactively identify potential issues or areas for improvement. Gaining hands-on experience with system workflows, integration points, and data flows to provide informed troubleshooting support. Participating in regular status meetings with the development team and vendors to stay aligned on open issues and upcoming enhancements. Continuously building your technical knowledge and understanding of the software ecosystem to contribute more effectively over time. Qualifications Educational Qualification/s: University degree in computer science, software engineering, or other relevant discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Competencies Core Competencies (Must-have) Application Administration using Java, NodeJS Database Administrations using Oracle and SQL Clear and concise communication in electronic and in-person formats with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced Ability to troubleshoot problems; being able to reproduce, diagnose and resolve technical problems encountered by users Strong customer service mindset Understanding business operations in a telecommunication service delivery and support Complementary Competencies (Good-to-have) Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships. Ability to prioritize tasks and produce high-quality work with a focus on accuracy and precision.
