Tantalus Floors is a flooring company serving Whistler, Squamish, and the Sea to Sky Corridor. The team provides hardwood flooring installation, refinishing, repairs, custom stair work, material supply, and commercial and large-scale flooring services.

About the Role
Tantalus Floors is looking for a Remote Project Coordinator based in the Philippines to provide reliable back-office support and help keep projects, information, and day-to-day operations organized.
This role will work closely with the leadership team to coordinate tasks, track follow-ups, organize project information, support planning, and help ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable with technology, team-oriented, and naturally proactive about figuring out what needs to happen next.
What You'll Do
Initial Responsibilities
- Complete quantity takeoffs from plans and project information
- Assist with preparing project estimates
- Help prepare and organize invoices
- Assist with project scheduling and maintaining schedule information
- Organize project documents, measurements, estimates, and related information
- Review project details and make sure required information is complete and organized
- Support the development and implementation of estimating, takeoff, invoicing, and scheduling systems
- Maintain accurate project records and documentation
- Follow established processes and help identify opportunities to improve them
- Provide reliable administrative and project support to the owner
What We're Looking For
- 2-3+ years of experience with construction estimating, quantity takeoffs, project coordination, or construction administration
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and project information
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, software, and digital tools
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Able to work independently and manage assigned tasks remotely
- Comfortable learning new systems and processes
- Reliable and responsive when working with a remote team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with residential construction or remodeling
- Experience preparing flooring, finish, or material takeoffs
- Experience with estimating or construction management software
- Experience with invoicing and project scheduling
- Experience working with Canadian, U.S., or other North American construction companies

Schedule & Compensation
Part-time: approximately 10-20 hours per week, with the potential for up to 25 hours depending on workload.
Compensation: 7-10 USD/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
The role will begin with a focused back-end scope, with the potential for additional hours and responsibilities as the position develops.
