Regulatory Specialist Position: Regulatory Specialist Work Arrangement: Work from Home Schedule: Morning shift Job Description: Regulatory Compliance & Claims Review product formulas and ingredients against regulatory frameworks (AICIS, EU Cosmetics Regulation, FDA, ASEAN, etc.). Assess marketing and product claims to ensure they are accurate, substantiated, and legally compliant. Advise internal teams on permissible language and identify high-risk or misleading claims. Artwork & Labelling Review packaging and artwork layouts for regulatory compliance (INCI, allergens, warnings, country-specific labeling requirements, batch coding). Provide approvals or feedback to ensure final artworks meet compliance standards before print. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GS1 barcode requirements and country of origin labeling. Documentation & Registrations Prepare and maintain Product Information Files (PIFs), Safety Data Sheets (SDS), and other regulatory dossiers. Prepare MOCRA registration, AUST L/AUST R listings, AICIS registrations, EU CPNP submissions, and international registrations as needed. Ensure accurate technical documentation is archived and readily accessible. Cross-functional Support Partner with NPD and Marketing to guide compliant product positioning and innovation. Work with Operations and QC to ensure accurate product specifications and labeling are aligned with regulatory requirements. Support customer audits and provide documentation as required. Qualifications and Requirements Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Science (Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Science, or related). Min. 5 years’ experience in regulatory affairs within cosmetics and skincare. Strong knowledge of cosmetic regulations (AICIS, TGA, EU Cosmetics Regulation, FDA OTC, ASEAN). Proven experience reviewing and approving product claims and marketing materials. High attention to detail with the ability to interpret and apply regulatory guidelines. Excellent communication skills, able to influence stakeholders across Marketing, NPD, and Operations. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel. Experience with formula compliance databases (e.g., Good Face Project, Cosmetri, or similar). Prior exposure to international markets (EU, US, Asia-Pacific, UAE).
