About the role As an Everyday Banking Consultant in our Customer Contact Centre Business Unit, you’ll help our Australian customers with Retail, Cards and Digital Banking solutions, troubleshoot enquiries and provide information on related products or services. This role services customer requests and enquiries in a timely and effective manner. These positions typically process high volumes of routine enquiries. The key capability is effective customer servicing rather than requiring extensive knowledge of a specific process or policy. Responsibilities Ensuring first call resolution for customers contacting us through the voice channel by consistently utilizing available tools and resources. Resolve customers’ enquiries efficiently by understanding their needs, identifying root causes and providing appropriate, permanent fixes. Escalating to an appropriate specialist banker or team of experts to deliver timely and accurate resolution when necessary. Empower customers to bank with us via Digital & Self-service channels and contribute to digital-first adoption. Become a brand ambassador for ANZ by delivering excellent customer experiences in voice interactions and aiming for positive NPS results. Work in a professional environment meeting customer-centric, financial and risk metrics and targets as necessary. Build your skills and banking knowledge quickly through ongoing formal training and mentorship from leaders. Qualifications Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) including the ability to engage and manage conversations with other nationalities. Solid contact centre experience with an English-speaking client base, preferably from the US or Australia. Understanding of the contact centre environment, major KPIs, and the technologies used to support the business model. You’re not expected to have 100% of these skills.
