Position Summary As a Senior Integration Engineer, you will be a pivotal, hands-on leader within our enterprise application ecosystem. Your primary focus will be the development, maintenance, and enhancement of the critical integrations and automation workflows that connect our core business functions. You will apply your deep technical expertise to solve complex connectivity challenges, directly impacting business velocity and data-driven decision-making. This is a high-impact role for an engineer who excels at building and maintaining the robust, scalable solutions that power a hyper-growth company. Key Responsibilities Own the development lifecycle: Lead the hands-on development, maintenance, and enhancement of enterprise-grade automation workflows and integrations on our core iPaaS platform. Ensure platform health: Proactively monitor and optimize the performance and reliability of our integration platform, identifying and implementing improvements to enhance architecture and automate processes. Administer the platform: Manage the Workato environment, including user access, connection management, and governance policies to ensure a secure and scalable ecosystem. Partner with the business: Collaborate closely with stakeholders across the company to translate complex business requirements into robust, elegant technical solutions. Influence the architecture: Apply your expertise to influence the architectural design and technical roadmap for our integration landscape, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and reusable. Be the subject matter expert: Serve as a go-to expert on the Workato platform and API-led connectivity, establishing best practices and mentoring other engineers to elevate the team's capabilities. Maintain excellent documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for our integration architecture, including data flow diagrams, API specifications, and operational runbooks. Qualifications Required 8+ years of total IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a hands-on integration development role. Extensive experience developing and maintaining solutions on a leading enterprise iPaaS platform (e.g., Workato, SnapLogic, Jitterbit). Ability to lead design and development discussions with technical partners. Deep expertise integrating core SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday). Experience building and managing integrations within a major cloud infrastructure environment (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). Deep, hands-on experience designing, building, and consuming RESTful and SOAP APIs and working with data formats like CSV, JSON and XML. Solid understanding of CI/CD pipeline methodologies. Proven proficiency in at least one modern programming language, such as Python or Java. Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Fluency in English. Preferred Direct, hands-on Workato development experience and relevant certifications. Experience with API Management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Kong). Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Scripting skills in Python or JavaScript for advanced data transformation and custom logic. Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and experience with messaging queues (e.g., AWS SQS, RabbitMQ, Kafka). A strong grasp of data security principles as they apply to integration and API management (e.g., OAuth 2.0).
