Role Process vendor invoices for property-related expenses (utilities, maintenance, contractors, etc.). Review invoices against contracts, purchase orders, and property budgets to ensure accuracy. Prepare and issue payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer. Maintain vendor records and W-9s, ensuring compliance with property management policies. Reconcile bank accounts and property trust accounts. Track and allocate expenses across multiple properties and cost centers. Assist with monthly financial reporting and property owner statements. Support property managers with budget monitoring and expense inquiries. Prepare documentation for audits and year-end reporting, including 1099s for vendors. Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or property management accounting. Proficiency in MS Excel and general accounting principles. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple properties/vendors and meet deadlines. Preferred Skills High school diploma or associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Familiarity with property management or real estate accounting software, such as Yardi, AppFolio, or MRI. Experience using AppFolio software.
