What does an IT Operational Excellence Analyst III do?

Sealed Air is seeking a highly motivated team member to join our Global Application Support organization. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our business-critical applications worldwide, working with a diverse team of skilled professionals across multiple regions. You will play a key role in supporting a wide range of applications, including SAP and dozens of other vital systems, ensuring our business runs smoothly and efficiently.

• Lead the Way: Maintain strategic mindset and inspire a culture of collaboration, high performance, and continuous improvement.
• Drive Operational Excellence: Ensure efficient and effective incident management, service request fulfillment, and problem resolution across all supported regions.
• Performance is Key: Maintain global SLAs and KPIs to measure, monitor, and optimize team performance. Champion initiatives to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
• Collaborate to Win: Partner with other IT teams to ensure seamless support for all applications worldwide. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Customer-Centricity: Cultivate strong relationships with business stakeholders globally, proactively understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction.
• Knowledge Sharing: Develop and maintain documentation for supported applications, including knowledge articles, runbooks, and training materials.
• Embrace Innovation: Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies to improve service delivery and efficiency.
• Communication is Crucial: Exceptional communication skills to effectively convey technical information across cultures.
• Problem-Solving Prowess: Strong analytical skills to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Results-Oriented: Proven ability to deliver results and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Operational Excellence

• Drive efficiency, effectiveness, and continuous improvement in IT operations.
• Apply process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
• Monitor application support metrics and reporting.
• Develop and maintain operational KPIs.
• Oversee IT service delivery to meet business requirements and SLAs.
• Manage escalations and outages impacting business operations.
• Implement best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Simplify technology ecosystems to improve user experience.
• Conduct regular assessments of IT processes and workflows.
• Provide training and support on process improvement methodologies.
• Manage onboarding and ongoing training programs for IT staff.

What are we looking for in you?

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience.
• 1–2 years of IT Operational Excellence experience preferred.
• Certifications a plus.
