Integration Architect

Responsibilities Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or CloudFormation. Architect automated provisioning workflows for servers, storage, and network components across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments. Integrate provisioning and orchestration pipelines with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps) for continuous infrastructure delivery. Maintain configuration management standards, templates, and reusable automation scripts. Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure seamless orchestration of multi-tier environments. Design and oversee virtualized test environments for development, QA, and DR validation. Implement automated workflows for cloning, snapshotting, and rollback of test environments. Ensure test environments mirror production configurations while maintaining isolation and cost efficiency. Optimize resource allocation and monitor capacity, performance, and availability of virtualized environments. Ensure infrastructure provisioning and virtualized environments comply with security policies and standards. Implement role-based access control (RBAC), multi-factor authentication (MFA), and privileged access management (PAM) for all critical systems. Design and enforce data encryption, secure replication, and key management practices. Define end-to-end infrastructure architecture integrating compute, storage, network, virtualization, and security domains. Ensure hybrid cloud and multi-cloud interoperability with consistent provisioning and orchestration frameworks. Establish governance frameworks, standards, and best practices for infrastructure automation and DR readiness. Mentor and guide infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams on automation, orchestration, and security practices. Document architecture designs, workflows, and operational procedures for audit, compliance, and knowledge management. Expertise in infrastructure automation and orchestration tools (Terraform, Ansible). In-depth understanding of IT security frameworks, compliance, and governance. Hands-on experience in cloud and hybrid cloud environments (AWS, Azure). Certifications such as AWS/Azure, TOGAF, Red Hat Certified Architect. Exposure to ServiceNow CMDB and automation workflows. Knowledge of FinOps or cost optimization practices in hybrid environments. Familiarity with Kubernetes or container orchestration for infrastructure modernization. Experience with cloud-native DR and backup solutions. Qualifications Proficiency in tools such as Terraform, Ansible for automated infrastructure deployment. Strong command of Python, PowerShell, Bash, or YAML for developing reusable provisioning scripts and templates. Expertise in Ansible for maintaining consistent configurations across environments. Hands-on experience with Git, GitHub/GitLab, Bitbucket, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions for infrastructure pipeline automation. Deep understanding of cloud resource provisioning and API automation in AWS, Azure, Google Cloud (GCP), or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Ability to design hybrid cloud and multi-region architectures with scalability, high availability, and DR considerations. Experience designing end-to-end provisioning and change workflows across infrastructure layers (compute, network, storage, and virtualization). Knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, and API gateways for integrating orchestration workflows with monitoring, ITSM, and CMDB tools. Understanding of Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, or OpenShift for infrastructure containerization and microservice orchestration. Experience integrating provisioning workflows with monitoring and logging tools. Experience in VMware, RHOCP for managing virtualized test and production environments. Experience in automating test environment creation using vRealize Automation, OpenStack, or CloudForms. Understanding of vSAN, NSX, vSwitch, or SDN solutions for test bed network and storage provisioning. Ability to design and manage cloning, snapshots, and rollback workflows for virtualized test beds. Skills in sizing and allocating resources efficiently across multiple test environments. Experience integrating test bed provisioning into DevOps pipelines for automated testing and validation. Experience implementing Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions. Experience in DevSecOps integration embedding compliance checks and security scanning in IaC pipelines. Integrate security monitoring and incident detection through SIEM tools. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to mitigate risks such as ransomware, insider threats, or data breaches in recovery environments. Ability to design end-to-end integrated infrastructure blueprints connecting compute, storage, network, virtualization, and security domains. Skills in architecting hybrid cloud models, DR integration, and cross-platform orchestration. Understanding of infrastructure telemetry, alerting, and log correlation for proactive health checks.
