Tactical Operations Buyer II (Mandarin-Speaking)

Job Overview

This position reports to the PSC Team Leader and involves PR/PO processing, compliance checks, supplier set-up/change requests, procurement helpdesk, invoice price issues resolutions, and more.

  • Experience in a procurement shared service center supporting multiple countries/business units
  • Experience working for a Manufacturing company preferred
  • Good understanding of end-to-end S2P processes and technology platforms
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, solid problem-solving, and detail-oriented
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work with deadlines
  • Ability to work in culturally diverse teams with various levels of personnel
Key Responsibilities:
  • Support migration of Indirect Procurement processes to Alabang and prepare related documentation
  • Become a Subject Matter Expert for Indirect Procurement topics
  • Handle and resolve escalated procurement issues
  • Ensure timely resolution of supplier, stakeholder, and AP queries
  • Maintain supplier master data
  • Ensure proper processing of PRs and POs
  • Perform compliance checks and expedite POs
  • Answer tickets via Procurement Helpdesk
  • Manage invoice pricing issues
  • Create and maintain Info Records & source lists
  • Execute Spot Buy / Requisition-Based Sourcing
  • Prepare and process eRFQs
  • Negotiate and execute smaller contracts
  • Support Projects assigned by Commodity Management
  • Conduct desk research and price comparison
  • Train suppliers and end-users on tools
  • Report savings and ensure communication with stakeholders
  • Perform PR/PO audit queries and KPI measurements
  • Ensure compliance with TE policies
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support a robust compliance environment
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers
  • Attend team meetings and training
Qualifications:
  • 5+ years experience in Indirect Procurement
  • Experience in a shared service environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with SAP PR2, S/4
  • Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages (Chinese, Spanish, German, French) are a plus
  • Experience in Diversified Industrial Products/Manufacturing preferred
