Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries, Marine Biology, or any allied courses
  • Preferably with at least 2 years of experience in crab hatchery
  • Proficient in admin, clerical, and hatchery works
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Hard-working, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Preferably with experience in writing and publishing research papers in peer-reviewed journals

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the conduct of experiments.
  • Assists in monitoring and recording of parameters and collection of data.
  • Assists in the encoding and analysis of data.
  • Coordinates work activities, and prepares requests for needed materials (work order, payments, etc.) for the project.
  • Assists and monitors the acquisition of research materials.
  • Prepares all initial reports (financial reports) and presentations related to the research project.
  • Performs additional tasks as required by the project leader.
  • Undertakes liaison work with admin staff.
  • Provides advanced technical support, designs experiments, and solves technical challenges.
  • Ensures proper documentation of results, including maintaining detailed project records and preparing technical reports for stakeholders.
  • Assists in writing manuscripts for research findings and contributes to publishing in peer-reviewed journals.
