We define quality as meeting or exceeding customer expectations. Our Senior Software Development Engineer - Test drives quality throughout the SDLC by defining requirements, analyzing dependencies, creating tests, and ensuring high-quality releases.

Responsibilities
  • Generate reports of test results and detected errors.
  • Prioritize and plan tests based on system requirements.
  • Document system functionalities within quality control and development cycles.
  • Communicate issues promptly and write automated test scripts to accelerate testing and delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance team and framework capabilities.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to define requirements for system enhancements and new features.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive test plans and cases based on end-user requirements.
  • Execute manual and automated tests, debug, identify errors, document issues, and follow up on resolutions.
  • Identify, reproduce, and report defects; verify fixes.
  • Participate in agile development and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Represent end-user perspectives to developers to ensure requirements are met.
  • Suggest improvements in quality control and development processes.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience testing, building, or supporting web applications.
  • Experience testing APIs and client applications.
  • Proficiency with ticketing systems like Jira, aha, etc.
  • Experience with test case management software.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to engage thoughtfully and compromise when necessary.
  • Leadership skills to build and inspire teams, foster a positive culture, and develop talent.
  • Familiarity with automated browser testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, Puppeteer).
  • Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.).
  • Experience supporting web applications, databases, mobile, and complex systems.
  • Proficiency in programming languages like JavaScript or TypeScript.
  • Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
  • Willingness to undertake impactful engineering initiatives.
  • Experience working within Agile teams.
