NetSuite Project Manager

Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated NetSuite Project Manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of NetSuite implementation and optimization projects for our diverse US-based clients. You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will also play a key role in early project phases, including scoping, pricing, pre-sales discussions, and resource planning, partnering closely with the Senior Manager to define effective and client-specific NetSuite solutions.

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget estimates.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct comprehensive discovery sessions to understand client business requirements and translate them into NetSuite solutions.
• Lead and manage multiple NetSuite projects concurrently, from initiation to closure.
• Oversee the entire NetSuite implementation lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, data migration, and go-live.
• Facilitate and lead project meetings, including kick-offs, status updates, and stakeholder reviews.
• Manage project resources, including assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance to the project team (consultants, developers, etc.).
• Ensure adherence to best practices, methodologies, and quality standards.
• Manage change requests and scope variations effectively.
• Serve as the primary liaison between our team and the client, fostering strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Communicate project status, progress, and challenges clearly and proactively to clients and internal stakeholders.
• Address client concerns and issues promptly and professionally.
• Provide expert guidance and recommendations on NetSuite best practices and solutions to clients.
• Participate in pre-sales calls to help define client needs, estimate project hours, and support proposal/SOW development.
• Collaborate with the Senior Manager and internal stakeholders on pricing strategy, effort estimation, and crafting Statements of Work (SOWs) during pre-sales and early project phases.
• Assess client needs in early stages and recommend solution architecture and resource mix.
• Collaborate effectively with internal NetSuite consultants, developers, and other team members.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members when appropriate.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our project management methodologies and tools.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports, including budget vs. actuals, timeline adherence, and risk assessments.
• Ensure all project documentation (requirements, design, test plans, training materials) is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.

• Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager leading NetSuite implementations.
• Demonstrated experience managing at least 3 full lifecycle NetSuite implementations.
• Strong understanding of NetSuite modules and functionalities (ERP, CRM, SuiteCommerce, OneWorld, etc.).
• Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Proven experience in scoping, estimating hours/costs, and supporting pre-sales discussions.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is a plus.
• NetSuite Administrator or Consultant certification is a significant advantage.
• Experience working with US-based clients is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
• Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
