MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Provides assistance to the Head of Process Optimization in conducting research for references for the continuous updating and development of operational procedures and work instructions for the Program Management Division.
2. Reviews and updates policies/ guidelines and improves or updates operational procedures and work instructions in Engineering Department in conformance to the Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, such as in the following areas
a) Preparation of Tender Bidding Documents
b) Request for Information/Approval
c) Cost Estimates and Evaluation of Bids
d) Standards Management and Process Optimization
e) Other PMD processes
3. Updates / Improve Operational Procedures based on submitted Process Improvement Form documents, Lessons Learned from Construction and best engineering practices.
4. Gives assistance to the Head, Process Optimization in the delivery of training programs pertaining to Maynilad operational procedures and work instructions.
5. Disseminates all new and revised Maynilad and PMD operational procedures, guidelines and policies.
6. Prepares and submits accomplishment report not later than the set deadlines.
7. Does other related engineering and management tasks as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS MINIMUM EDUCATION
- Industrial Engineer or licensed Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineer
WORK EXPERIENCE
- Must have up to three (3) years of total working experience, including entry-level or no prior experience (0-3 years).
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES
- Possesses analytical and technical competency related to job
- Computer literate (Microsoft Office) with the ability to learn new software applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledgeable in office software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
- Knowledgeable in local and international standards such as ISO, BS, or EN among others.
- Possesses a background with common data environment software such as ACONEX, Autodesk Construction Cloud, or ProjectWise.
- Familiarity with various 3D design software such as REVIT, Navisworks.
