Job Description Primary Responsibilities: Compares quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order. Inspects purchased parts & materials for conformance to specifications. Examines items for defects in materials, work, and damage occurring in transit. Inspects and measures items for dimensional accuracy, fit, alignment, and functional operation, according to prints, parts manuals, company standards, and other specifications. Performs basic First Article Inspections (FAI) and conformity inspections. Approves or rejects items, and records inspection and disposition information. Gathers data for preparation of technical reports. Gathers data to prepare inspection and test plans, standards and acceptance criteria, and procedures/work instructions. Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure safety, environment, health and quality compliance. Basic Qualifications Associate Degree or other 2‑year post‑high‑school training. 2 years of relevant experience is required. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint proficient. Strong written and verbal communication and reasoning skills.
