Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery, etc.) during pep talk and safety meetings Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventive measures. Review existing policies and measures and update according to legislation. Initiate and organize OHS training of employees and executives Inspect premises and the work of personnel to identify issues or non-conformity (e.g. not using PPE) Oversee installations, maintenance, disposal of substances etc. Record and investigate incidents to determine causes, prepare reports on occurrences and provide statistical information to upper management. Any other tasks that maybe assigned from time to time. Participate in the maintenance and continuous improvement of our Triple Certification Systems: Health and Safety of all employees, customers, and contractors as your first priority per ISO 45001:2018 and RA 11058 Reducing our impact upon the Environment with ISO 14001:2015 Consistency in Quality service delivery using ISO 9001:2015 Requirements A graduate in any engineering, geology, metallurgy or chemistry course with at least one (1) year experience in safety work or two (2) years experience in mining operation; or college undergraduate in any engineering, geology, metallurgy or chemistry course with at least two (2) years experience in safety work or 3 years experience in mining operation Preferably have undergone BOSH Training Must possess leadership skills, proficient in oral and written communications Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills Epiroc is a global productivity partner for mining and construction customers, and accelerates the transformation toward a sustainable society.
