About the role

We are excited to announce an opportunity for the Lead – Finance Business Partner role. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial and management accounting, budgeting, and forecasting for Orica's business functions . This role involves stakeholder engagement, financial analysis, and strategic support to drive business performance and informed decision-making.

This position will be based in our Pasig Office and follows a hybrid setup .

What you will be doing
  1. Develop, implement, and analyze financial and management reports aligned with corporate and strategic business goals.
  2. Provide accurate and timely business and regional performance reports.
  3. Develop key metrics and insights to drive business unit performance improvements.
  4. Conduct variance analysis on financial results, budgets, and forecasts.
  5. Ensure accurate and complete corporate entity and global function financial reports.
  6. Perform monthly fixed cost reporting and corporate financial analysis.
  7. Prepare ad-hoc financial reports for executive support functions.
  8. Consolidate and assist in the reporting of budgets, planning, and forecasts for the business unit.
  9. Coordinate the annual budgeting process at the Group and Region level.
  10. Oversee regional periodic (mid-month and monthly) and long-term (annual) forecasts.
  11. Ensure cost center budgets and forecasts are accurately completed.
  12. Provide financial support and business partnering for Executive Committee (ExCo) support functions.
  13. Prepare and maintain audit trails for ExCo support function budgets and forecasts.
  14. Offer financial support and business partnering for the GBS local entity.
  15. Monitor and report on the costs and benefits of transformation programs.
  16. Ensure cost center owners are aware of variances and assist in managing spend.
  17. Ensure complete and accurate profit center accounting aligned with corporate requirements.
  18. Maintain reconciliation of management reporting to financial results in SAP and BI on HANA.
  19. Ensure compliance with Orica's financial policies and standards.
  20. Lead and manage a team supporting ExCo functions.
What you will bring
  • 8+ years of post-graduate experience in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in accounting or business.
  • Experience in a large, global business in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SAP (knowledge of BPC, BI HANA, and HFM is advantageous).
  • Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and a strategic mindset.
