Overview Freelance English into Tagalog (Philippines) Life Science Translator. Translate and proofread documents pertaining to Life Sciences clients under guidance of a manager and in collaboration with Project Managers. This is a remote-friendly position open to candidates worldwide. We are expanding our database of freelance linguists who translate from English into Tagalog (Philippines) for Life Sciences material. Responsibilities Translate documents from English into Tagalog (Philippines) for Life Sciences clients. Proofread translations to ensure accuracy, spelling, and grammar. Collaborate with Project Managers and under supervisor guidance to finalize deliverables before submission to clients. Qualifications, Skills & Experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Tagalog (Philippines). Specialized in Life Sciences or the relevant field described. Acute attention to detail, spelling and grammar. Ability to maintain professionalism under tight deadlines. Career Requirements A Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies or an equivalent degree that includes significant translation training from a recognized institution; or 2 years of translation experience and a college degree; or 5 years of translation experience and no college degree; or A certificate of competence in translation awarded by an appropriate government body.
