Westy Transporter Company is a developing waste transport and environmental services provider based inCaticlan, Aklan , supporting responsible waste collection, transport, and disposal operations acrossWestern Visayas .
As the company continues to grow and expand its operational capacity, we are looking for a reliable and experienced Accounting & Administration - Assistant Manager who will help strengthen the company’s financial management, administrative systems, and internal processes.
This role is ideal for a professional who can handle accounting functions while supporting administrative and operations in a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Monitor financial transactions and ensure accurate documentation
- Assist in budget preparation and cost monitoring
Compliance and Reporting
- Ensure compliance with BIR regulations and Philippine accounting standards
- Prepare and coordinate tax filings and government reports
- Support internal and external audit requirements
Administrative Support
- Maintain proper documentation and records management
- Assist in procurement coordination and office administration
- Support management in improving operational processes
Systems and Data Management
- Maintain accounting records using accounting software and Excel
- Prepare financial data analysis and operational reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy
- CPA is an advantage but not required
- Minimum 5 years of accounting or finance experience
- At least 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Experience in financial reporting, tax compliance, and accounting systems
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
- MUST BE WILLING TO RELOCATE IN CATICLAN, MALAY, AKLAN
