Overview Senior Cyber Security Analyst at Procter & Gamble. Location: Manila, Philippines. Job Description The Security Analyst plays a key role in proactively protecting networks, applications, and infrastructure from cyber threats globally. This role involves resolving complex problems, building and improving procedures, facilitating communication, and driving the remediation of discovered vulnerabilities. Responsibilities Proactively protect networks, applications, and infrastructure from cyber threats Manage a team and influence people or organizations to achieve significant IT outcomes Define strategy and lead the delivery and transformation of business outcomes through the Security Operations service, products, or programs Demonstrate breadth of applied IT skills across at least two IT job profiles and apply Integrated Risk Management, IT Operations, and IT Project Management skills relevant to the work Perform security alert triage and incident management activities Drive detection, analysis and provide guidance on remediation of discovered vulnerabilities Perform base security analysis and follow-up actions to contain and remediate cyber threats and recover assets from security-related events Collaborate with Penetration Test Team, Cyber Hunt Team, Threat Intel, and other internal groups to enhance the company’s cyber security posture Understand and evaluate threat landscape risk and advise on remediation steps Use tools to analyze and respond to incidents and proactively enhance the company’s cyber security posture Communicate technical information to non-technical audiences and influence adherence to policies and standards Ensure incidents are documented with analysis, actions taken, and remaining steps to close/resolve Qualifications Technical Skills Sufficient knowledge across cyber security domains including: User behavior analysis; malware basics; log analysis and correlation Enterprise endpoint security and email security Network security (IPS/IDS), security protocols and operating systems (Windows, Unix, Linux) Understanding of security threat landscape and threat models; MITRE ATT&CK/Cyber Kill Chain Experience with SIEM/SOAR or similar platforms is a plus Programming or scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Rust, or Go Preferred certifications: CSA, CySA+, or similar Educational Background Bachelor’s degree or above in information security, cybersecurity, software engineering, computer science, information technology, or related field Communication and Language Skills Fluent in English, written and spoken Teamwork and Collaboration Strong leadership and stakeholder management, ability to work with CSIRT, Penetration Testing, and other teams Independent work capability and quick learner Curiosity and growth mindset About Us We produce globally recognized brands and grow leaders in the industry.
