Salary : ₱130,000

Work Setup : Hybrid - 3 Days WFH, 2 Days Onsite

Shift Schedule : Night Shift

Location : Makati City

The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Java API Spring Boot Lead to oversee the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performing APIs. This role combines hands-on coding expertise with leadership responsibilities, guiding a team of developers while collaborating with architects, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
  • Define best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines for API development.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Java developers.
  • Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security.
  • Ensure APIs are well-documented, reusable, and meet integration standards.
  • Oversee code reviews, technical design sessions, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance the API ecosystem.
What We're Looking For
  • Must have Technical and/or Team Leadership experience
  • Must possess at least 5 years of Core Java - ability to develop from scratch / strong foundational development
  • Must be knowledgeable in Spring Framework and/or Spring Boot
  • Must be knowledgeable in Rest API / GraphQL
  • Must be knowledgeable in Microservices Architecture
  • Must be knowledgeable in Kafka / Any Messaging
  • Must be knowledgeable in SQL
