Salary : ₱130,000 Work Setup : Hybrid - 3 Days WFH, 2 Days Onsite Shift Schedule : Night Shift Location : Makati City The Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Java API Spring Boot Lead to oversee the design and development of scalable, secure, and high-performing APIs. This role combines hands-on coding expertise with leadership responsibilities, guiding a team of developers while collaborating with architects, product owners, and other stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade solutions. Your Responsibilities Lead the design, development, and deployment of APIs and microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks. Define best practices, coding standards, and architectural guidelines for API development. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of Java developers. Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and security. Ensure APIs are well-documented, reusable, and meet integration standards. Oversee code reviews, technical design sessions, and troubleshooting activities. Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices. Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance the API ecosystem. What We're Looking For Must have Technical and/or Team Leadership experience Must possess at least 5 years of Core Java - ability to develop from scratch / strong foundational development Must be knowledgeable in Spring Framework and/or Spring Boot Must be knowledgeable in Rest API / GraphQL Must be knowledgeable in Microservices Architecture Must be knowledgeable in Kafka / Any Messaging Must be knowledgeable in SQL Ready to take the next step in your career?
