Software Engineer Team Lead

Job Description Collaborating with the development team with all aspects of coding, software design, and other duties as required. Writing code from scratch and ensuring existing code is properly maintained to ensure the best possible functionality. Working to analyze and identify bugs and implementing methods to fix them. Monitoring and analyzing the overall performance of internal systems and software builds. Efficiently responding to requests for assistance from the development team. Investigating and liaising with customers to gain information about the program's overall function and ends user experience. Responsible for the writing of reports for presentation to Senior Developers and management. Testing developed software and programs to ensure the best functionality. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field. At least 1 year experience in a related field. Strong programming skills in one or more programming languages. Proficiency in database design and SQL. The Software Engineer II will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing software systems that drive business processes and support company goals. This role also supports the management of Business Intelligence (BI) tools that transform data into actionable insights, while ensuring smooth installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications and operating systems. Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions (SSIS/Halo) to support reporting and analytics. Analyze current BI processes, recommend improvements, and ensure data governance compliance. Monitor and optimize BI platform performance, error handling, and data quality. Collaborate with business and IT teams to address reporting needs and provide user support. Document processes, resolve system issues, and support day-to-day BI operations. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 3+ years' experience in application development & database administration. Proficient in Java, C#, PHP, or similar languages; familiar with BI & data warehouse. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
