The Role McCann Worldgroup Philippines, Inc., seeks an Account Manager to join our team here in Philippines. This person will be supporting a local brand that is a leader in its category and is creating breakthrough, award-winning marketing. The Account Manager will be essential to the continued success of creative communications that are highly strategic and impact the account's future. We need someone who can be a true partner to our client and cross-functional agency team and support the larger team in creating revolutionary creative work. What You Will Do The Account Manager for Wizard will be required to: Set priorities, organize workstreams, and assume a leadership role for assigned projects. Develop, maintain, and/or review weekly and monthly status reports and cultural and competitive audits. Support a highly strategically oriented account, working in upstream product development and marketing initiatives. Drive the brand forward in a highly competitive and fast-paced environment. Manage various elements of production across the traditional, digital, and/or social spaces. Become a subject matter expert in the client’s business, immersing yourself in their history, competitive landscape, and objectives/goals moving forward. Develop strong relationships with clients across various disciplines and business areas throughout the organization, as well as with your agency counterpart. Who You Will Be To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrable previous relevant experiences and skills with the following: Key Skills Analyze critical data points to identify and quickly highlight key issues, problems, and opportunities. Know the client’s business better than they do. Gain insight into the client’s needs and propose potential solutions and opportunities. Be relentlessly curious to ensure your team is current on trends, media, competition, and business implications. Bring forth inspiring creative work to inform the team as we develop business solutions. Provide the team with an informed point of view, context, and business implications. Understand the meaning and implications of key financial indicators. Other Characteristics Of An MW Account Manager 1-2 years of experience in advertising or related disciplines. Experience working in an extremely fast-paced business in a highly competitive and evolving industry. Self-motivated, with the ability to create great internal and client relationships. Proactive nature that lets you anticipate client and internal team needs, challenges, solutions. Very effective communication skills. Excellent writing skills.
