Your role
As a Software Engineer at AICines, you'll work across a live consumer platform serving a global creator base — the streaming product, creator tools, and the AI video pipelines underneath both. You'll ship real features that real users touch, not sandboxed exercises.
Day to day, you'll:
- Build and ship features across the AICines web platform and creator tools
- Work on the AI video generation pipeline that turns prompts into finished content
- Fix real bugs and handle real scale problems as the platform grows
- Collaborate directly with founders and senior engineers on production systems
- Open to frontend, backend, or full stack work — tell us what you're strongest at
Training, development & rotations
You'll be paired with senior engineers from week one and work directly on live problems rather than sandboxed exercises. Because AICines spans streaming, social product, AI generation, and film production, there's genuine scope to explore adjacent areas — frontend, backend, infra, or ML-adjacent work — based on where your interest develops.
Salary & benefits
Compensation is benchmarked competitively for remote roles and varies by experience level. The role is fully remote with flexible working hours. You'll get hands-on exposure to production AI systems and a live platform with real users, plus direct access to founders and senior engineers.
Career progression
AICines is scaling, and progression is based on impact rather than tenure. Strong performers move into specialised engineering tracks or broader technical leadership roles as the team grows. Interns who perform well are considered for full-time positions.
Who we're looking for
- Currently studying or recently graduated in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Working knowledge of at least one modern programming language or framework (JavaScript/React, Python, Java, or similar)
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, remote-first team
- Curious, self-directed, and able to communicate technical decisions clearly
- No prior professional experience required; ,students, recent graduates, and junior candidates are all encouraged to apply
